The rooms itself was nice enough, however the fire alarms went off around 2am the stairwells were blocked, there was no staff giving any information about where to go, everyone was confused. The next day upon speaking to management we were told there was infact staff members outside with signage, I have videos from this event and there were definitely non visible.
After expressing how appealing the whole situation was dealt with the manager stated ' we aren't giving any discount on the room' this was extremely insulting to myself as I hadn't suggested that, I was expressing my dissatisfaction with how the situation was handled. After said comments I will not return here.

Had afternoon tea here this afternoon. Very helpful staff,beautiful afternoon tea. Absolutely delicious. This was a vegan afternoon tea. Couldn't fault it.
Hilton Doubletree was comfortable and warm. Lovely ambience.
Plan to book again.

Went for afternoon tea today and it was lovely. Very attentive staff. Credit to the manager. Very friendly and helpful everyone of them. Couldn't do enough for you. Very pleased overall. Thank you

We had a nice stay here, we had the double family room, was really spacious & spotless, could be doing with a mini fridge, we went down to the pool & steamroom, pool was really small, same with the steamroom, but the steamroom was really good, the breakfast was like all major chains, average tasting with a good selection, the hotels in a great location for visiting & tourists & we would definitely come back .

Hi there really bad experience with the room service and breakfast. The food from room service was terrible - I waited over an hour for mouldy hard cheddar cheese - and Stilton that looked like a mouse had a bite out of it.( I have attached pictures). So bad I never ate it incase I got food poisoning. The breakfast which I pre paid for was so bad I actually genuinely felt sick after I ate it. Really regret booking there for my daughter’s 14th birthday. Paid £240 for an overnight stay and never even got a goodwill gesture for the terrible food. Will never book a Hilton again it’s drastically dropped its standards. I have booked the crown plaza and I’m looking forward to much higher standard. Avoid the Hilton Glasgow double tree like the plague. Pictures attached to prove my point. I don’t want anybody else to get food poisoning or ripped off. Also no drinking water in rooms you have to go down to reception and beg for a bottle of drinking water or pay for it from room service - unbelievable. Also couldn’t believe they asked paying guests to pay for parking - you couldn’t make this up.(£15 I paid for parking on top £240 for the one night stay). It was worse than a budget hotel. I would have gave it a zero stars rating if I could have.

Lived up to the Double Tree standards of clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast.
Returned last week for an overnight and the hotel is maintaining the same standard as on our previous visit.

Amazing birthday meal tonight and our server Sherry was so friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Made our night even more special. Service was brilliant !

Great hotel in the heart of Glasgow. Friendly and helpful staff who were very helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for one night. Breakfast was excellent and all food was fresh and hot. Excellent stay.
